The Little Lights Method

Training weekend in Venice:

– January 11 and 12, 2025

– January 25 and 26, 2025

– May 10 and 11, 2025

The training is divided into 3 modules:

Module 1: Introduction to the Little Lights method. The first module is an invitation to explore the world of philosophical practice through some theory on the different methods that have existed throughout history, as well as a practical application of the Little Lights method.

Module 2 : In the second module, we go beyond abstract thought, connecting body and mind in a journey combining philosophy and art. Philosophy becomes a sensory and artistic experience, where the body is the starting point for exploring profound concepts. Participants have the opportunity to attend a philosophical tea party led by Chiara Pastorini to observe how a Little Lights workshop with children unfolds.

Module 3 : Deepening Practice. Participants share their experiences and learn to develop teaching materials that can be useful in daily practice. This is a time for collective discussion and growth, to strengthen skills and continue improving.

What are the Little Lights used for?

Arts and philosophy circles allow children to express their emotions, feelings, and viewpoints, and foster listening skills among themselves. This method has demonstrated new benefits, promoting greater behavioral maturity in children, as well as improved public speaking and critical thinking skills, and leading to better social interaction.
